International Conference on Environmental Observations, Modeling and Information Systems

The conference will discuss the state-of-the-art and the use of observational methods, computational and information technologies for assessing, modeling and mitigating environmental change due to natural and anthropogenic factors, including global climate change.

Aims

To present and discuss scientific results on priority directions in the Earth sciences, to review in detail the current trends in the interaction and dynamics of natural systems, to identify climate-forming processes and factors, to discuss the level of development of modern climate models and forecast models, their verification and practical application, as well as to identify optimal directions for further research and opportunities for interdisciplinary cooperation. Special attention at the conference will be paid to a detailed discussion of the state and dynamics of the environment of Northern Eurasia, especially Siberia and the Arctic, where climate change is most pronounced. One of the aims of the conference is to reduce the gap between the achievements of fundamental science and their practical applications in the field of environmental protection.
