The School «Modern Mathematical Analysis»

The School

«Modern Mathematical Analysis»

The scope of the school covers several areas of modern complex and harmonic analysis: the theory of Riemann surfaces, the theory of approximation by analytic functions, geometric function theory, etc.

The work of the school is organized in the form of mini-courses and survey lectures by leading scientists in the field of modern mathematical analysis and its applications.

The survey lectures are dedicated to such branches of modern analysis as the theory of greedy algorithms, issues of approximation, discretization, and optimal recovery of analytic objects, random measures, a new approach to the Hawaiian conjecture, the Wiener-Hopf method, and applications in the theory of random walks. The topics of the mini-courses are following: Riemann surfaces and potential theory, approximation by analytic functions, and Hilbert spaces of entire functions.
