The introduction of virtual reality technology in the educational process

Within the framework of the Center’s activities, it is planned to introduce VR-technologies in the educational process at a number of faculties of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Since 2008, virtual reality technologies have been used in the educational process at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. In 2017, the master's program "Intelligent Mixed Reality Technologies for Aerospace Systems" was opened at the Faculty of Space Research of Moscow State University. This will provide an opportunity to develop scientific and methodological foundations for the use of virtual reality systems in education, introduce VR technology into the educational process at a number of faculties of Moscow State University and other universities, and train specialists in creating such systems for the educational process.
