The seminar was organized on the basis of the Scientific and Educational Center «Supercomputer Technologies». The reports cover all aspects of the use of supercomputers, parallel computing systems and distributed data processing methods for solving large computational problems. The seminar has a pronounced interdisciplinary nature, however, the various nuances of using supercomputer technologies are of interest to researchers from various fields.
The seminar is supported by the Moscow Center of Fundamental and Applied Mathematics.
PROGRAM
16:30
Shaitan A.K. | Associate Professor, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Department of Bioengineering, Faculty of Biology, Moscow State University |
On the experience of using HPC technologies in modeling living systems
The seminar will discuss the problems that are solved by using computational methods in enzymology, establishing the relationship between the structure and function of proteins, designing drugs and biocatalysts with desired properties, predicting the virulence of pathogens, analyzing personalized medicine data, including the experience of working under the RSF grant "Development and the implementation of the principles of supercomputer co-design for the development of end-to-end digital technologies and the creation of high-performance computing platforms for predictive modeling and the use of artificial intelligence: from the microworld to living organisms and the Earth system", supported at the competition of world-class laboratories (heads of individual areas of research within the grant: V M. Stepanenko, A. V. Smirnov, N. V. Lukashevich, Vad. V. Voevodin).
The seminar will be held in the form of a webinar on the Zoom platform.
