The seminar was organized on the basis of the Scientific and Educational Center «Supercomputer Technologies». The reports cover all aspects of the use of supercomputers, parallel computing systems and distributed data processing methods for solving large computational problems. The seminar has a pronounced interdisciplinary nature, however, the various nuances of using supercomputer technologies are of interest to researchers from various fields.
The seminar is supported by the Moscow Center of Fundamental and Applied Mathematics.

Application of the CABARET technique for numerical modeling of hydrogen safety problems
The tasks of hydrogen safety include both the tasks of hydrogen explosion safety at nuclear power plants and the tasks of the safety of civilian hydrogen energy. An accident involving hydrogen usually occurs in the following scenario: unintentional outflow, mixing of hydrogen with air to form a combustible mixture and subsequent ignition of the combustible cloud.
A computer program CABARET-SC1 is being developed at the Nuclear Safety Institute of RAS for numerical modeling of problems of hydrogen safety analysis based on the vortex-resolving technique CABARET. To perform a computational analysis of the problem of the outflow of a hydrogen-containing gas mixture from a high-pressure vessel through a small-diameter hole, a new multiscale algorithm was implemented in the CABARET-SC1 computer for simulating the near and far fields of the jet. To perform a computational analysis of the problem of the combustion of mixed combustible mixtures, a computational model of the combustion of mixed combustible mixtures was included in the CABARET-SC1 computer.
The report will consider the results of validation of new models in the CABARET-SC1 computer, as well as examples of the results of modeling foreign experiments devoted to the issues of hydrogen safety.
The seminar will be held in the form of a webinar on the Zoom platform.
